Have used the Furutech demagnetiser and thought it made a diff. Took it past a mate who has no time for pseudo science any other form of BS and we tried it. He too saw a difference, although when he tried the disc again a few days later and looked for specific pointers, he coudnt see them, confirming that the differences are transient. I've also used other demag devices and when I reviewed these i used a form of blind testing in that family members couldnt see what I was doing. (2 of the same CD's one de magged the other not, they did not know which disc was being played) They heard differences (not saying improvements) between de magged and standard disc. So in my opinion while there may be a whole lot of snake oil surrounding the WHY de magnetiseres work i belive that some do. Are they worth the time and money? As another colleague stated when i told him about the Furutech "I can buy a lot of CD's for that money" If I won the lotto and money wasnt an object I'd consider the Furutech.
