I need some advice around creating 15-25meter RCA connections for subwoofers.
Buying seems to be a fairly expensive endeavour so im gonna dust of my year of electrical engineering and see what i can rustle up.
I have my trusty soldering iron somewhere and ill get some gold plated RCA solder type connections from mantech.

The real question comes around what cable to use. The interwibble is a bit divided on this but the general consensus seems RG58\59 cable is sufficient and if you can afford it or able to source it military spec RG58\59 is first prize. RG59 seems to be leader as its rated at 75Ohm which most people agree on is optimal especially at longer lengths.

What are the fellow DIY peeps thoughts on the RG59 mil spec option ? have you created long length RG59 cables before ?
If it works lekker where is the best place to source RG59 mil spec cable ?

Any assitance \ guidance would be moooch appreciated.

K
