Generally as loud as it needs to be for percussive instruments to excite the room. Thats anywhere between 75-80dbA in my living room at the moment. Thats with my Corals. I need to feel the percussion and bass instruments otherwise it doesn't feel realistic. Otherwise I can just as well not listen at all. When I’m alone in the house it can reach up to 95dbA peaks on the same speakers listening to Slash, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots or whatever I feel like on the day. I’m sat around 4m from the cabinets.
