One of the last things my dad did as we was trying to settle affairs was to gift me a ReVox H system (amp, CD player, tape deck, and tuner). I think I would like to use the amp and cd player, and a good streaming DAC (maybe a Node X).
Shipping them to SA with DHL, UPS or the like is extortionate.
The option I’m considering now: pack the amp and cd player well in a very sturdy box and travel with it as oversized luggage. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it riskier than couriers?
The tuner and tape deck can stay here as I have no use. Might ask my sister to sell them here.
