Like @AlleyCat mentioned, my B1's were in a bad state driver wise, sent them back for a full refurbishment including full sandblast and respray. An absolute painless process as long as you have someone strong to help you crate and un-crate. I later upgraded to the B1 Decades (traded them with Vivid and even made a small profit) which were quite a jump in performance wise from the B1's. Lived with those for 3 years and recently upgraded to Giya G2S2, again trading the Decades with the written assurance that if i ever wanted to get rid of the G2's that I have a guaranteed buy back for at the least, the same amount that I paid. The G2's are undoubtedly the absolute best money I have EVER spent on hifi. They are simply spectacular. Both my B1 Decades were and G2's are in the same Borello Red as your K1's. It is a lovely colour. I polish the speakers with McQuire's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax and it really brings out the deep red metallic shine. If you can afford to keep them and have the drivers fixed, you won't buy anything for R150k that will come close. [HEADING=1][/HEADING]
