As far as I know, credit fitness must be assessed before granting anyone a facility. E.g I applied for My Telkom service, ITC checks and affordability were done.
With e-tolls, no one contacted me to ask if I can afford them. The same route I take to work for the past many years, never had issues till gantries were installed. I didn?t ask them for the gantries, that Road was fine before them. I pay my annual car licensing fees too.
The bill they sent me states I owe them R117 795.78.
My car is not even worth that much!
Who is fooling who? Who can help me with this rubbish, do I not pay important things and pay e-tolls? Sadly I have not a single cent in my budget for e-tolls.
