;D We had a Blaupunkt Music centre way back in the day. I'm thinking early 80's. The my Dad spoiled me and we built up a nice Stereo System, which consisted of a Technics SU-300 Stereo Amp, Pioneer SG 540 Equilizer, Pioneer SG 540 Stereo Tuner, Sony Direct Drive Turn-table and Blaupunkt 80W ported Speakers. I played all my Audio through this, even the TV and Video was configured to play via the amp. It sounded real good. I miss this system. Then, when the CDs came in the 80's, I bought myself a Samsung Big Max 3-disc mini-hifi. I still have it today. Not the same sound quality, as my stereo system, but it did ok for the application of playing CDs.... -Unfortunately, the Stereo System was given to my sister and it was given away and was totally abused!!! -but those were the days!!! I will definitely be building me another Stereo System, as soon as I am by the means!!! -nothing beats Stereo, not even HT!!! 8)
