From what I've read (ad nauseum) on diyaudio.com these will need some serious thrashing before they're burned in. If I recall correctly, one chap hated the sound initially, so he put them in his garden shed and left them playing for a week. Nothing but praise thereafter :)

Hehe not intentionally... but it has happened by mistake a couple of times ;). My DAC-before-last had both sets of outputs, but I had to fiddle with settings to switch between them.

Since no one has posted for a while, I'm going keep this thread a-stirring ;) Will it be able to drive both the balanced and single-ended outputs concurrently? In my case, this is a big plus (headphone rig as well as speaker rig)

Another question I forgot to ask - how likely are we to see a BNC SPDIF connector? Is it feasible to have both that and RCA?
