Thank you all for your replies! This was more of a technical opinion: thank you Chrisc and Ampdog.  Unfortunately I don't have that much time for listening to music.  I don't have space for two systems, so the kids and wife listen to movies and tv through it. Quite a waste for a VA Exclame.

Hi All, Would like to get opinions:  Is the electricity saving from Class D amplifiers vs Class AB a worthy saving in electricity.  Say for instance a equal wattage 50w amplifier? If it works 10h a day? What are your opinions please. Danie
