    Other Marantz, the model 18

Wow Sarel, interesting finds. Thanks for sharing. Well if you are able to fix that lovely massive marantz it will be worth quite a bit of money. The pictures does not really show how big and heavy that amp is, it is a monster of a thing. So keep going def worth it.

    Richard Allen speakers

Yes Richard Allan drivers are still popular. I had a pair I sold some time ago. They don't sell for to much but they do sell and they are great speakers.

**Wiring two PIEZO HORN TWEETERS 7″ x 3″ to a Technics SU-Z65 Amp**

I have a pair of proper horn drivers that was used on a war tank to play prob announcements or even certain alarm sounds not sure. They have a very long throw to them. The mids on those horns are so smooth and open one can almost use them for hifi. They look like something out of World war 2...

    AR4x speakers

The Ar4x speakers are lovely sounding speakers when restored. Most of the 4x models used a material type of surround and not foam. So if that is the case the woofers should still be fine. However most of the ar4x tweeters I have seen in the past sometimes the coil wires corrodes away , you...

Where can I find some foam speaker grills?

No definitely not. I see many users that have these speakers play them without the foam. The foam is just about the look of the speakers. But yes compared to the ls3/5a's I had I must say these come the closest to them in sound which I have heard. Uses the same kef T27 tweeters and kef B110's...

Where can I find some foam speaker grills?

I was at sondor foams today. They can get me some open cell foam that should work. Takes 5 days to order and costs almost R1k for a sheet. So I think I will just leave it for now cause I will sell the speakers anyway. But yes sonor foams has some very nice foams available.

Where can I find some foam speaker grills?

I have been looking around everywhere for some foam I can use to cover up my Jim Rogers 149 speakers as they originally were. These sound almost in many ways just like the Rogers Ls3/5a's and I would like to get them 100% like they were so all I still need is the foam grills. So the foam...

Qsc usa 850 prof amplifier worth keeping for hifi use?

I am mostly used to vintage hifi amps. Like the marantz in the pic and then a quad 303  sugden a21, and so forth. The qsc sounds good. Much more controlled in the bass, mid bass section. Probably because it is 240watt per channel. Very solid and clean sound. Very neutral sound. But I am...
