Ok let me give a more specific example ,the pre-amp is a parasound pd 1100 with a 60ohm output impedance and the amplifier is Nuprime sta-6 with a 47k ohm input impedance, is this considered a good match?

@gavinbirss ,with regards to pre-amp to power- amp would be the perfect example.,and does it apply to dac to pre-amp as well.
