    Simplicity of Linux

Yep, no more utterly disgusting performance due to 12938475 billion bloated background processes you can't properly control and no more waiting 20 years for updates to configure was enough for me to use Linux for basically everything except playing games and running the occasional piece of...

    Simplicity of Linux

Downloading numerous numbered (or lettered) files over http using Curl. Useful for things like lecture slides and easier than writing a shell script, as http doesn't usually support using wildcards for downloading multiple items. Code below will download "numbered_file1.pdf"...

    Are CDs dead?

I'll be honest I had no idea Musica had anything decent going on in the bargain bins. In fact I've never equated Musica with bargains of any sort. Despite my arguments in defence of streams, I should note that I do also thoroughly enjoy buying cheap CDs.

    Are CDs dead?

The R20 referred to bargain buying I believe, not at Musica.

    Are CDs dead?

Such emphasis placed in possession of things. The point is listening to music, with decent enough quality to really enjoy it. If I had to rent amps and speakers to do it, I would.

    Are CDs dead?

Why can't you listen to something that brings you joy, peace or inspiration at any time with a streaming service if they have the music available? The stereotype that listening to streams means you don't listen carefully is unfounded. I don't care that I don't own it because I get to listen to...

    Are CDs dead?

Are we acting like the music business isn't a business? I think it's naive to get upset by the new formats trying to close out the old to take hold of the market, what do you expect? This is how capitalism works, and it ain't pretty.

    Are CDs dead?

What's the huge deal with owning music? If you've listened to it is that not the point? I understand collectable material, and passing things onto other people if you choose, but owning something just so you can say you own it is an empty pursuit. Financially you're definitely saving if you...

    Are CDs dead?

Jeepers people are really hating on the streaming services, they're not that bad. Baseline The vehicle for government control? Surely that's taking it a bit far. Any medium is subject to use as propaganda anyway. (and Electrical outage will prevent you from listening to anything except a...

    Are CDs dead?

In terms of paying for hosting a service, R60 a month is cheap when it gives you access to millions of songs you would otherwise have to sample by buying albums, borrowing albums from friends. The way the SABC is run, I have my doubts about the radio's bright future.

    CNC DXF File check

In the future, you can always check with Autodesk's Online Viewer: https://viewer.autodesk.com/ The free version of DraftSight (which is pretty good at drawing these things too) can also be used to view and edit DXFs.

    B&W AWS610

Do you have different pieces of equipment plugged into different plug points? If so that can cause ground loop issues (the loop forms when you interconnect the two pieces of equipment that are connected to different sockets). Solved obviously by plugging everything into one plug point via a...
