A friend had one these Revox B790 Straight arm turntable many many years ago, I remember he had some cartridge compatibility problems. Also had Thorens with Rabco arm which he preferred.

Items posted from Canada 10 months ago, never received. Had sender to track, Canadian Post Office said it had arrived in JHB. Either theft at ORT or Post office (or both!!!) Never use the Post Office again...use DHL, Fedex....cost more but you get the goods.

The genuine Cramolin Contact Cleaner is one the best to use for audio connections. I used it before bought it in USA.

I gave up on Communica...try Mantech Electronics in JHB

I had one of these amp before, great amp worth repairing if price is reasonable.

Power supply caps are usually the first place to check. These electrolytic caps deteriate with age.

Just send them (Polk USA) the model number and year of manufacture or a pic if possible. Had good service from them before

Hi...I use JRiver with PC volume disabled....ie...digital straight out to DAC and volume controlled externally.

Use a good quality 75 ohms co-ax cable (like BELDEN) and use good quality plugs and you'll have no problems.
