The iESL is good, but requires input from a stereo speaker amp.

I have found Fanvil voip phones to be on par or better than Yealink at a much lower price, they are also very reliable. As far as service goes, look for a provider that can offer a cloud based VOIP service, instead of having to run software or a Linus server to manage the system.

I have also heard the R2R2k, LPGT, and PAW 6k. I prefer the LPGT. But given my budget I'll happily settle for my AR m2 and A&K KANN for now.

You will. I have the HD280 Pro all the way up to HD800, LCD2, Ethers Etc... The margin of benefit is smaller yes, but there is a benefit to be had. I just wouldn't buy an amp that then costs far more than the headphones.

Hi Stephan! I have since acquired an HD800 and LCD 2. I enjoy all of my gear for the slight differences each can has to offer. It will take time ,trial and error and a lot of listening to find that ONE holy grail can that will meet all of your needs.
