Hey Shonver Good point, thanks sometimes brand loyalty is the deciding factor. I'm a huge Cambridge Audio fan so I'm leaning that way, the performance should be awesome enough as you say I won't have the oppo there to compare it against.

LOL Enigma, I completely understand your selfishness. It's been tough but for those of us who put in the hard yards while others made excuses are now reaping the rewards and will prosper in the new year and the begining of the end of the recession.

In that case does it make a reallife difference to the average blu-ray buyer. Why would Cambridge Audio opt for the Mediatek chip if it was so under preforming. The tests and reviews so far have been very favourable and I believe there will a huge demand for it, going by their history.

There are mixed reviews between the Anchor Bay and Mediatek chips on the internet some rave about the Mediatek others about the Anchor Bay. Is there a site I can visit with direct comparisons.

I listened to a mates of mine Integra 70.1 Amplifier which he set up using the Audessy set up and it sounds awesome, he is running Energy Connoisseur speakers and the set up is correct and sounding awesome. I suggest trying the set up again or just trust your ears.
