With all due respect I wouldn’t worry about a streamer with an Avr. If you want to improve sound quality in your set up the first thing to do would be to get a pre amp with ht bypass
Your other option is to get a really good DDC (digital to digital converter) then have whatever you want upstream like a singxer su6 (it’s a similar price and outputs a digital signal better than most)
You can try installing ropieexl it’s a roon endpoint but also works with Spotify as a player. Make sure you install the xl versions there are loads of tutorials
The first place is positioning relative to room. I found (well actually @Air Stefan suggested) moving my speakers away from the front wall which made a big difference completely dependant on the room and speaker but suggests at least 60 cm from the back wall.
I also found placing bass traps...
I Immigrated in June LY to Toronto from JHB. We would have stayed in SA if it were not for our children. Canada has been mostly great with its own ups and downs.
Winter if embraced was mostly great. My kids love the snow and I haven't grown tired of it yet so with warm clothes it's mostly...
May I just suggest getting and nvidea shield. It really does just work superbly well.
Also the amount of features and extra stuff it can do make it well worth it especially if you were into home theatre

8 bits is a measure of how much information the medium can hold. In the attached link the dynamic range is quoted as 70db for vinyl so maybe closer to 10bits. Vinyl is still a storage device for recording which has its own...
I have not used TT so take my comment with caution. I suspect that the recording being equal to a very good dac and proper high res recording may be better and extracting all the detail and range that a full-scale recording can contain.
To my knowledge, a vinyl record can only contain 8 bits...
I am afraid not as your avr will re-digitise the signal anyway so any advantage the zen would have delivered will be lost. Secondly a stream would be used to feed a DAC which in this case is your avr.
You could use it as a replacement for pc but don’t think your avr has a usb in?
Your end point if you like the music now is a pre amp with ht bypass with an avr and power amp.
This way you boost ht performance with power amp and get ?pure? stereo from pre amp (of course you may now need a dac and streamer) but this is the eventual end place for no compromise ht and stereo...
