Have a Node 2i (modded power supply which makes a difference even on streaming only as the internal DAC is diabolically bad) and have tried the Zen in my system. Marginally different sound (as I recall soundstage was deeper but thinner) on my system, but for ease of use the Node is streets ahead.

Had a few of them over the years. The cask strength usually brilliant. NAS though.

Yes - Indi bottling. Was brilliant value. Should have just bought it all out after first trying it.

Fitted mine yesterday at 17H10, power off at 18H00 to 22H46 and then 00H00 to 06H16. Average load for first few hours 300w or so, 170w since then, was at 94% this morning a few minutes before power came back on. More than happy with that. At no stage could I feel the battery heating up etc...

Yes - would be nice to finally have a working inverter again (lead acid batteries dead after so many cycles).

Great news! Old batteries dead in level 5. Thankfully not at home at the moment.

Order done. Went for a 24V 100AH rather than 2 12V 100AH. Not sure of the logic other than 1 battery easier than 2.

Assume these can be used a a drop in to replace lead acid? If so put me down for 2 please.

Have had all the releases currently on their site and a few others as well.  The only one that impresses is their cheapie (the R300 brandy cask finish). Currently loving my latest bottle opened too much (a single cask Marsala finish Ledaig) and now must find some more on the auctions.  :'(

Have compared the iPad (digital out) vs Macbook vs streamer. Easy win for the streamer.  Buy the Ifi - it is much better value than the Bluesound.  Then just throw on a little DAC and you are well ahead of where you were.
