It's a great DAC. Balanced, clean-sounding and extremely well-designed.

I recently imported the Soncoz LA-QXD1 balance DAC from Linsoul. Other than stock issues on their side, I the import process was absolutely painless. I also got DHL free, which may or may not kick in above a certain price point, and that took about 10 days.

Pads do affect sound quality and if thicker, can affect sound stage as well. You may better off with something like leather or protein leather to retain a similar signature.

Please let me know your thoughts. I am interested in getting a pair for production use.

I noticed that as well. A lot of these speakers are more in the 7k range unless on special.

I'm planning on getting my Tone Board through Digi-Key as they have free delivery at orders at and above R2000 so I can squeeze in a Hammond box as well. I am worried about customs though. 

I think the white ones are gorgeous. We're definitely in agreement on Klipsch's products. They're so very Great Gatsby art deco (which is not a bad thing in and of itself), but they'd look like crap in a modest home.
