My 20 cents... (One of) the problem/s is the non-stick compound record companies mix in with the vinyl pellets, this needs to be removed as soon as one buys a vinyl disc. On older discs it may be more difficult to remove as the compound hardens. Of course dust, static and a bunch of other stuff...

Consider that in way back when the equipment to record this amazing music was on then state of the art analogue equipment, valve amps and reel-to-teel tape recorders etc. The track Fever is off the Album "Elvis is Back" - considered to be his best album. I have a copy of the Analogue Productions...

It's either an (very very expensive) electric vehicle or a hi-fi for me, but at least I know where my priorities are! So hi-fi it is!
