Please note that not all jacks have a solid metal core but rubber in the center. Pressing those types will not be good idea.

I still have it but it's faulty. When I turn it in the socket it goes on and off. It's the side that plugs into the external device (Laptop / phone).

Took my car in for an open campaign this morning and see that Mercedes is fitting an adapter ( for free nogals) that works with an app on your phone. Not sure about all the functionality yet but it allows you to use Tidal in your car (for models from 2002 onwards)...

I plug my preamp in the main plug (master) of the device and my power amp in the aux connections (plug) of the same. The moment I switch the preamp on the power amp goes on.
