I had a hum issue with my predator, on closer inspection I found resistors R12,R6,R105 and R112 (there may be others) to be cracked and signs of heat. The amp is a little old now (version 3 2005) and still has the original valves. Any ideas as to where I should start troubleshooting ? pictures...

Thanks for the input guys, yes all the grey boxes have transformers in them, they seem to be encapsulated in some sort of resin. Yes there were two speaker outputs at the back so yes I think it was stereo.

Hi Guys, I bought this valve amp ( not in working order) some time ago and have stripped it down and am left with the valves ( 2x 6V6GT, 2x EF37A, 1x ECC83, 1x 5Z4) and the transformers. Has anyone a circuit I could use to build something useful from these bits ? Many thanks.

I am going to be attempting some smallish spray paint jobs, and am looking for some advice on spray guns. I have a small generator, Atlas Copco 10bar 90lt and a cfm of 4.7, I prefer gravity feed and it seems the only viable gun is a lvlp. They don't seem to be readily available in in SA, does...

Hi Guys, Im thinking of building a good quality psu to replace wallwarts im using, for instance for my Dirac 22 ,minidsp etc.First question is will it make any difference, and secondly does anyone know of a good design I could use, it would be between about 5v and 15v, 1amp Many thanks guys Regards
