Emotiva can ship using an alternative courier. I recently imported an svs subwoofer (30kg) & paid $355 shipment via DB Schenker to JHB. However I had to collect at airport.

When building up Hifi system, the most common mistake people make is poor selection of the amplifier/AV receiver. Later on they realise that the amp is under powered & may have to make a costly upgrade.

I have 2 bookshelves & powerful subwoofer which are ok for moderate listening. However, I find them lacking in mid-bass region & I?m planning to get floorstanding speakers for that slam I?m currently missing. I'll "demote" the bookshelves to the back. Im still hunting for the best budget...
