I built a DIY setup for subs. 2x Dayton 12 inch subs running from Crown amps. Cost R14k for the box and drivers. Scouted a long time for the two crown amps on market place, R4k for xls1502 and R3k for xls1500. So R21k total

The idea is to put some absorption panels on the roof to address the reflection from the roof. In the end, there will be no air gaps on the false wall, only the equipment rack will have gaps. I figure 4 atmos channels is the sweet spot, more than that gives no real benifit.

Thanks, I will stuff loads of the acoustic material in between the gaps to have as few gaps as possible. I prioritized room treatment, that is what will give it the edge over a non dedicated room, but takes the small things to add up to the overall effect
