Hey Think the best place for disks is amazon, I've gotten plenty at some good prices. A 4k movie, normally has 2 disks one blu-ray and the other 4k uhd disk. As mentioned by other can get a uhd player the samsung for 5k, or xbox one s etc. I'm waiting tho on those Enjoy the setup once its final.

Hey Stewart Thanks for the update, don't worry don't think it's your tv that much when comes to 4k, obviously more hdr effects etc. I have the Samsung ks8000 and struggle to see difference between uhd "backup" copies vs blu ray. Think the main reason for this is that the tv or any other source...

SVS are awesome subs, both myself and Francois have the pb1000 which isn't as powerful as the on 2000. But they rock as mentioned by other members. If you can get dual pb2000 you will be sorted, especially for HT. If leaning only for one pb2000 rather get dual pb1000s than single pb2000...

yeah all in good time, OLED is the way forward, but great setup already so once you get the TV sorted then you a for a way. Let me know how the comparison goes, especially the revenant think that will show off UHD quite well, and apparently the HDR is awesome.

cool! Please do, would be nice to know the comparison compared to the "budget" xbox one s. Think the sound will be different due to xbox not bitstreaming at moment. What uhd disks do you have to demo? Would like to know the comparison when comes to HDR, see the tv is a samsung ks range i assume?

The xbox S, can you stream UHD movies using plex on it? How does it perform? Any issues?

Been looking at this streamer, have you tried to play UHD movies? I'd like to know the performance streaming UHD. Some movies I have downloaded seem to have codec issues with the audio, so the TV's usb can play from my drive, but the codec isnt supported by the TV's manufacturer so no sound...

Takealot, loot, RARU all have. Cheaper to get from overseas from my experience.

This is from the HDMI website: "eARC supports the most advanced audio formats such as object-based audio, and enables advanced audio signal control capabilities including device auto-detect." Will this mean that the new hdmi cable will fix the limitation of the ARC only sending DTS/Dolby etc...
