Got the same one as well, absolutely awesome TV at the price.

If the pricing was in line with a 7 series it wudve been fine,  the 56KS9500 is 29999 and the KS8000 also the same, I wudve expected a price difference at the very least.

Their UK models I think are still edge lit, either way not cool branding a 7 series TV as a 8 series. I think it's more to do with pricing so they can squeeze more out of the market as consumers are thinking they getting a 8 series where in fact it's just a rebadged 7 series.

Highly doubt that, the KS9500 and KS9800 seems identical to its overseas counterparts. I can't believe they would pull this stunt if I'm correct, blatant deception from Samsung sides.

I'm currently using a 32gig Samsung Evo + for the past six months as tab ran out of space. Not a days problem so far and reliable. I swap it to transfer movies quite regularly and always just works. Also @ R199 I could not ask for more.

I run a 25 metre CAT6 cable from my router into the roof and then into the PC room to get connectivity and its very stable. Wasn't prepared to pay over R1k for a wifi adapater for the Yamaha.

I'm in CT bud,really looking to buy local.

My PS3 and PS4 both set to bitstream and output the HD file formats, not sure of Xbox though.
