I bought the Deco m9 and havn't looked back! For the granny flat i used ethernet over power and it's running at 300Mbps.(One thing, these needs to be on it's own plug. no multiplugs etc.) So my suggestion, get the deco M9 (two units) and get the tp link ethernet over power. Looking at about 3k...

Pick up a 1080ti second hand, 16Gb ram and an SSD and you are good to go.

I use Plex....awesome....used to have Mediaportal...but too buggy Plex i can cast to chromecast....or just use samsung Plex app. can also access all content via the web when on the move. any phone or web browser... give it a go....

Hi All bought my marantz off the forum 2 or so years ago... HDMI just went on the blink a few months ago....now it stopped working. The tv does not pick up the signal...finally saw the issue last night. If i hold the HDMI out...so lift it a bit it picks it up. seems the connector is a bit worn...

I see series are coming out in UHD now....50mins is a 30GB download lol
