I've also got a 5kw, but with 6x545w panels and 2x5khw batteries. My setup is set for not throwing a lot of money at Eskom, with a lot of tweaking from myside. My Eskom bill is around R500p/m.
What i would change on your setup (but keep notes of how it was):

I got a couple of 12v 80mm case fans which I wired in series and hot glued them together. For now, I've just placed them on top of the inverter, I'll probably test to see if there is a difference if I move them to the side. I wired in a 12v Sonoff relay, which is being controlled through Home...
Make sure that your system is set like this. It is under Equipment -> press on "..." net to the inverter name on the right ->Settings -> System Mode.
I have both my swimming pool and geyser on Essential load, but I manage both of them using Sonoff switches. As @Orcish75 said, non-essential...
I agree.
I'm running mine on a Raspberry Pi Model B and it works well. The only thing that takes a while to update is Charts page, which contains, well, a lot of charts / graphs
I agree. I have a 5kw Sunsynk (5500w continuous, 10000w for 10s peak). I have pushed it to just shy of 7000w, although it was not for extended periods of time.
Looking at the 2 current figures:
AC Output Rated Current 22.7Aa.c = 5448w @ 240v (4994w @ 220v)
Max. Continuous AC Pass-through...
I've previously used Moode Audio as a RPi streamer, but never used Spotify on it although it is supported. I was able to use my DAC hat (HifiBerry DAC, iirc) Perhaps give it a try.

Leroy Merlin has got Jinko 555w solar panels at R2399 incl each. I bought Jinko 550w panels last year August at R3600ish each, not to mention where the prices were a month or 2 ago!
Jinko 555w
First thing: the sooner you install solar panels, the sooner your Eskom bill will come down. Even if you just start off with the minimum of 4 panels (Sunsynk MPPT's require 150v, panels are just under 50v each).
Secondly, be prepared to have a higher Eskom bill with the 8kw and zero panels...
I have a 0.75kw Hurricane pump (JSW10M) and controller (PC13) with 5000l tank. Our problem is that one section of our town does not have a reservoir, so if the power goes so does the water...
What I would have done differently is to use a smaller pump (perhaps even the 0.37kw) as it is quite...
