my best stereo amp thus far has to be the one I am currently using, Prima Luna Prologue one.  Easily the best amp I have owned.  Closely followed by Primare i20 intergrated, selling this amp remains one of my bigger audio regrets.

googling this topic reveals that more people have chosen to remove the supplied plates and gone with speaker cables.  Should you decide to take this route,  the recommendation is that one uses the same cable that you use from amp to speaker as your 'bridging cable'.
