It seems to be washing out the colors as well? Either way, I don't like the idea of cabling interfering with image processing. It's why we spend $$$ on the Display and GPU/Player to start with. Cabling should provide a reliable, clean, high speed connection. End of story.
The LEDS in the link don't specifically state that they're 6500K color temp, but pure white LEDs usually are that temperature - so I maybe you got lucky? :) I want to get a set that specifically states 6500K because that is the only color which actually makes bias-lighting work. Any other color...
@KenMasters - besides my mini pi$$ing contest I seem to be going on with, on to a MUCH more important question: Where did you hear about UHD distribution being stopped locally?? I've noticed that we simply are not getting new UHDs in, I never knew they'd stopped??? :OMG: Do you know if they're...
The Samsung 9500 is the one closer to the UB900 in terms of performance. But again, we don't get that model in South Africa. I'm personally still holding for the UB900 because I believe that it's something I'm only going to buy ONCE, so it might as well be the best one I can get. there are many...

Woah. Is a guy not allowed to make a typo anymore? Either way, the UB900 has image enhancing features which the lower models don't. It's that simple. Are you upset about people buying this model? Did you miss some sort of commission agreement causing you physical discomfort when someone...
SOOOO...this player has hit the local market in extremely limited quantities. The UB900 will cost you a cool R10500.
Is it the same as the UB400? Well, for those looking (too) quickly at the specs you may think so, however, the UB900 has some chrome edge enhancement tech that none of the lower...
I don't like digital/streaming content as it does NOT offer the same quality as physical media....yet. And what happens when it does? You download it, right? What do you do with those copies? Store them on media? Full circle. Nope, physical media is here to stay. 78rpm players still played...
