As a tribute to AVSA I would like say that that this magazine is one of the few things genuinely South African that has not been influinced by politics and has kept the same standards of quality & customer satisfaction. A realy classy mag

oraait genoeg gat gekryp

anyways....

what was your ultimate AVSA moment? article or a specific issue.

for me me it was the review deon did on the harman kardon hd 720 and the review he did on on a pair of rotel entry level pre/power amps. both reasonably cheap but still able to knock your socks of in terms of sound quality.

whats yours?

But seriously, the highlight for me was when they agreed to be hosted on these forums, It is a great honour to have them entrust that to AVForums. I hope the quasi-partnership will be long standing.

Lol, and Deon took me for a ride in it! *shivers at memory* I should have posted pictures here of my stupid grin when I climbed (staggered) out of it...

My first paycheck Smiley
Seriously there have been quite a few over the years.
While playing with some great equipment has been lots of fun, I think my best AVSA moments have been meeting and chatting to a few of the people on this forum, some of out top manufacturers, Roy and Schalk spring to mind, and the likes of A J van Den Hul, Paul Barton (PSB) and quite a few others.
