Well the restoration (collection) bug strikes again.

I must stop reading Family_Dog's posts.

I obtained a while ago a rare Radford STA 12 (Stereo 12 + 12 Amplifier)
with its Radford DSM Stereo Control Unit and all the interconnecting cables.

The amplifier is complete but some bad rust on the "valve rails" (sides where
the valves are plugged in). The nickel "rails" are a bit rusted as well as the two handles.

The paintwork is fair for its age.

The information on the Internet is very limited regarding this set. Only a schematic of the
amplifier section but no information regarding the rest of the amplifier's outlay for e.g. the
power supply and plug connections.

This could be the very first of the STA models and is probably based on the Mullard 5-20
as the valve compliment are: EF86, ECC 83, EL34 and GZ 34.

It uses the same peculiar plugs/sockets as the Radford STA15 MK 2.

If anybody has information regarding the Radford STA 12 please let me know.

I started with the restoration that will take some time.

I will still post pictures of the set.
