New flat screen tv's - No L+R audio out ?

So i have been using the L+R audio out on my old tv to feed the sound to my Nad amp(No optical ins).  Now with the HU8500 that i got from audico there is no L+R audio out.

A while ago i got small kind of dac here on the forum that takes a optical in on the one side and analag l+r out on the other side. Is that the only way to get the sound to my amp?
I don't want to use the l+r out on the dstv decoder as then i have to switch of the amp everytime i switch of the tv.
