My power is supplied by Eskom direct and not City power.(Fourways Area)I have always found Eskom to be helpful at least they answer their telephone.This morning at about 3:00 a.m. "Hello darkness my old friend" and they have no idea when it will be on.Thank goodness my pub is on a different grid.

Aye, this is true... Had a friend who used to be part of a community project. This was about 5, 6 years back, when two of the senior most blokes at Eskom were brothers, if I recall correctly. One of them was at a meeting where it became clear he didn't even know that each of the pylons had a unique number for fault reporting problems. Didn't know the basics, but there he was, right at the very top, making decisions.

What would one expect from a BA graduate at what is essentially an engineering  business.....'power is the thing that makes the lights go on'.

If your pub is open at that time, I need to know where it is.....you never know when you may need a dop.

Unfortunately it is only open from11:00 a.m to about 10:00 pm.Being a very good customer I have opened it at 08:30 as long as someone is on duty.
