LOL - "SO" generally refers to "Significant Other" and is normally an internet slang term for wife or Girlfriend so when someone says the "SO approves" he means that his wife likes the stuff - this type of equipment is generally regarded as having a "high WAF" (wife acceptance factor aka spousal acceptance factor) 

You are wrong.The correct term for permanent girlfriend or wife is MOP.That stands for Member Of Parliament.As my MOP disagrees with everything I purchase I ignore her and no longer vote for her.

LMAO - there are so many names for your spouse or girlfriend - other examples include

SWMBO - she who must be obeyed
DW - Darling wife
WAB - What a b***h    (only for when you are really fighting otherwise it will cause the fight)

and as in your instance :
 
SWMBI - she who must be ignored
 
and referred to as so many other synonyms such as

better half
ball and chain
old lady
 
i am sure theres plenty more

This brings back some memories to me in the 80's. Grey, Victoria & Albert Streets. As well as some of those arcades. I remember paying back in the day R4.99 or R5.99 for 12". However lost many in a fire when our house went up in flames  .
I moved to JHB and bought some vinyl at various places in JHb. Last place i bought was at Sound and light city.
I also bought from DJ Syndicate in CPT.

I also used to frequent those arcade back in the 80s with my cousin. He was a big music fan and he used to buy his vinyl there. Unfortunately he moved up to Jhb a while ago and gave away his collection to people up there.

I got this Rotel RC 1070 pre and RB 1070 power amp at a good price and my B & W 684s are loving the extra power now!
