Electronic Component clearance
« on: October 29, 2007, 02:45:17 pm »
I have to get rid of some electronic components. I'm still in the process of making up the inventory list, but I thought I should post here what I have so far. There are no prices specified, but feel free to make an offer if something catches your fancy. Will also consider bartering. I would prefer it if bulk quantitites could be taken, rather than small quantities. I'm not looking to make a mint, so don't be afraid to make an offer.

I still need to add some more capacitors and then there's a whole bunch of toroidal transformers (130VA, 225VA and one 800VA, IIRC). The transformers are a mix of new unused and new salvaged items (the latter comes from equipment that never made it out of the factory).

Hi Shaun,

It might be a good idea to include an indicative price in your spreadsheet. I'm always up for buying parts, esp toroids and such. PM me if you have something in mind for the toroids (and please let me know what voltages you have)

I'll be in CT next week, so I can collect (If you have something of interest, of course ;D)

Cheers

Gert

OK. I've updated the list with the transformers and prices. Please do a reality check for me, as I have not taken the time to do a price survey. I did put down figures that I believe are modest, but please let me know if any of them are too high. Based on my intended modest pricing, total value is >R6000. If someone offers me R2000, they can have the lot.

Hi Shaun,

Am I correct that you want R10 for any toroid? If so, I'd take all items 39, 40 and 41. I'll pay for shipping. That would come to R140?

Thanks

Gert

I have 4 persons interested, one of them wants to take all. And all hail from the North. I would like to please all o' ye, so do you guys think you could work out something amongst yourselves? The alternative is first come, first served. The latter means only two persons can get anything. Then there's the transportation...

I say give preference to the guy who wants to take it all off your hands  ;D

The transformers are the attraction!

I did say

If someone offers me R2000, they can have the lot.

But before I got that offer, I promised another person certain transformers. Unless someone comes up with a better solution, I'll have to limit it to those first two persons.

Tricky...

Aaw c'mon FD! You snuck that hifi stand from under my nose. Give us common folk a chance as well ;D I do not need ALL the transformers under item 39. Then again, I see you are at the BOTTOM of the list, so why am I worried?! ;D ;D ;D

Hmmm, tough one.
OK, what if I review my quantities on the transformers, at the price I did not mind having them all even if it will keep me in transformer stock for a year...
So, I will relook at the quantities, increase the prices marginally as kind of an offer to the person wanting to buy the whole bang shoot.

I understand the Txfs are the juice....

Lets have another look at the list.
