No, I'm a trophy employee, for the shop front, you understand. They hired me for my good looks, but I have no real authority.  ;)

I did find this using Google search:

http://www.avsa.co.za/files/archives/22/634AVSA%20April%20Issue%20.pdf

So there must be some kinda archive. Just not front end linked....

In fact using advanced search there is more: http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:pdf+site:http://www.avsa.co.za

or

http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:pdf+site:http://www.avsa.co.za%20NAD+review for searching for NAD review

Hi,

I have noted that the AVSA website has a "reviews published" section -which shows the equipment that was reviewed, and not the actual review.
I would like to get my hands on past AVSA mags (not too sure how possible is this), mainly the ones that have SA equipment (Valve Audio/Sonor Audio/Steinhart Audio > etc as i these are the only ones i am aware of - apart from the recent Vivo)

Is this possible?
Even if these come up to about 15 mags - i don't mind paying for them and coming collect them if they are still available....

Klyv...

Valve Audio = http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:pdf+site:http://www.avsa.co.za%20%22Valve%20Audio%22
Sonor Audio = http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:pdf+site:http://www.avsa.co.za%20%22Sonor%20Audio%22
Steinhart = http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:pdf+site:http://www.avsa.co.za%20%22Steinhart%22

Klyv is coming tomorrow to raid our supplies. Going to send him into the vault with a candle and matches. He'll come out when he gets hungry.

Thanks alternativeroute, much appreciated.
Today i went to raid the AVSA studio - rolled sleeves, got an energy snack - ready to hunt for hours on end.... but the guys @AVSA are just too neat and kind. If it weren't for me being nosey and checking out some up coming equipment for review in the studio - i would have been in and out - but i just had to chit chat a bit with the guys... (Rare Opportunity) I couldn't miss.  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) ;) ;).

So got sorted - and busy reading away.
Thanks once again Andrew.... and alternativeroute!

Now for that listening session PART 2?  :) :)  i'll bring the coffee so we don't derail the thread again....  ;)

Andrew still uses a Typewriter, don't confuse him by trying to explain what a scanner is ;D

Nah - he uses a pencil. Ruzena does the typing.

a GREAT THANK YOU to AVSA`s Andrew for going through the trouble to scan in a copy of an old AVSA review (1996 issue) and emailing it to me!  Thanks again Andrew!
