So I have joined the higher end audio market by purchasing some MONITOR AUDIO BX 6 Floorstands. They are remarkable!
At that point my budget was restricted to buy the av receiver used to demo the speakers (yamaha rxv 767)

I am still on the look out for a good second hand deal. I am looking for something in the line of the Yamaha 767 ( Onkyo tx sr 707 or the MARANTZ sr 5005 or the Denon 2310.

I would prefer to have HDMI technology.


My pricerange is capped at R5000.

The 567's sold.  Truthfully doubt you'll get a 767 for R5000.  Sorry man.  They're the latest models, so not yet close to that price even if you could get a 2nd hand one.  Try the 767's for R6750.  I'm only going to sell one more at that price.  Then the price is going to probably be closer to R7250
