I doubt you'd be able to buy the timber for that price

If it's still available,

I WANT IT :-)

Sorry, not shouting, but jhave to make certain you see this.

This would be ideal for mounting some good VALVE Gear!

Wow - quite a response here as well!

I only put in on yesterday and received 3 enquiries from another classifieds and an offer greater than my asking :/ I'm just going to follow up with this guy and if nothing comes of it, I'll give Family Dog a call.

I should just place it on bidorbuy and tell her the enquiries to bid ;)

That sort of sh!t should get you banned.

You advertise for a price, someone offers to pay the price, and then you up the price?

Poor poor style.  ???

Sure, you can do whatever you like, but you need to understand that this type of community, and specifically the 'for sale' activity within the community is based on trust. Personally, I wouldn't trust you with my mother in law's Schnauser after this little display.

Do you search for my posts specifically to attack me?

The product was advertised on two sites - this and one other. The other person came to me first - so I'm dealing with him first , regardless of the price he offered. If he doesn't come right it goes to the second that contacted me, which in this case is Family Dog. I will be charging what is advertised. If the sale is not concluded, I will move to the third and fourth.

At no stage did I mention I would be charging more for the unit : I'm going in order of query received. What exactly am I doing wrong here?

Personally I think personal attacks should be banned on this forum. This is the 2nd thread you've pushed your opinion without having correct facts. Family Dog and I have arranged in private. As did Shonver and myself regarding the DAC and price, before you started.

I didn't think that Dolby was serious but, yeah, if it was a joke it was not a good idea (evidently).

Of course I agree that when selling through this medium trustworthiness and integrity is a prerequisite.

That's the impression I thought as well, chris.

I also thought that the fact that I mentioned I'd call Family Dog (the 2nd potential) should the 1st buyer fall through, would point in the joking direction.
