An opensource media player for PC that has one of the most comprehensive library of add on components available. But it allows kernel streaming access to hardware, has a brilliant Dolby headphone plug in and is IMO gives the best quality playback of any media player and it supports virtually all known codecs

I beg to differ, go to hydrogenaudio's foobar forum and check out the custom mods and scripts users are using - looks WICKED
