If I may, I would like to add a little bit here.
I loved the AVSA room, plenty thought has gone in to it.
Room acoustics are the most overlooked issue when it come to getting the best out of a system.
Joel has been to my place on a few occasions and every time he came back there was some new room treatment done, and on every single occasion he would comment to how much better the system sounded.

Analogos had an acoustician visit him at his place, if i remember I'll call him and find out who this was.

I'll also speak to the guy that did my bass traps and see if he wants his number given out in an open forum.

In the interim you can pop around to my place and hear how much of a difference bass traps make.

If I may add my 5c worth...

Why don't you use an Audiolab 8200CD+ as source?

2x Coax + 2x Optical + USB inputs, as well as the built in CD Player with high quality built in DAC.

You can switch between all the inputs from the remote, and it has volume control.

RCA and XLR outputs.

Thanks to the small display (can be switched off), no-one will know which input is selected in a blind test.
