Welcome u235.

As mentioned, maybe you should ask your question as a new topic, but yes, Maggies needs LOTS of power and LOTS of space to make them shine. R6K sounds not too bad for the 2.6R's, but look and listen first. Pay particular attention to lower frequencies causing a "brrr" sound from the panels as that will point to delamination and will require some effort to fix.

HI CHAPS!

MY REAL NAME IS HENRY AND I'M FROM A LITTLE TOWN CALLED GROBLERSDAL (165KM FROM PRETORIA). I'M A TEACHER AT THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL.I'M EXCITED TO HAVE FOUND OTHERS THAT LOVE HI-FI AND MUSIC FOR THERE IS NO ONE IN THIS LITTLE TOWN THAT IS INTERESTED IN HI-FI. I ENJOY READING AVFORUMS,THE INFO,JOKES ABOUT CONCERNED WIVES THAT JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND AND DREAMS WE ALL HAVE OF "THE SYSTEM".

MY SYSTEM FOR NOW IS A YAMAHA Z9 RECEIVER,YAMAHA DVD 2700,MARTIN LOGAN SL3 SPEAKERS,YAMAHA NS 777 AND 444 SPEAKERS,2X YAMAHA SW 315 SUBS AND A SONY BRAVIA 40" LCD.

I,VE BEEN SAVING FOR THESE ITEMS FOR A VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME BUT MY DREAM OF "THE SYSTEM" WILL NEVER STOP.

Welcome Ekmanson.

Hmmm, do you guys live far apart on Groblersdal, therefor the shouting? ;D

I am referring to your "ALL CAPS" posting, which is described as "shouting"

You seem to have quite a setup there.

Welcome, Henry!

Nice system you got there. You are in the perfect position to educate those kids about good sound quality. I urge you to take advantage of the opportunity  ;).

LOL

WELCOME HENRY

They are giving you a hard time about having all the writing in capitals. It reads like you are shouting at us :D Just tell them your keyboard only has capitals on it ;D

Anyway welcome buddy! Nice to see enthusiasts from smaller towns - it isn't easy keeping that passion going and getting a system system as nice as yours together in the more remote locations.

Cheers!
