AVSA Cable listening session

AVSA is based in the Randburg CBD, just so that you know, for starters, where you'll be heading.

If you are interested in attending, please PM me.

Early next week Joel and I will post a few suggestions for days/times for the sessions, and then you can let us know which one suits the most, the best.

It'll take a while to set things up, as we might need to source some equipment once we've ascertained the level of interest, but we'll keep you informed.

Thanks to those who replied - first session is now full. I'll chat to Joel later today to come up with a few dates for the get-together.

Equipment:

Source is going to be 2x Cambridge Audio 840 Cd players, loudspeakers will be the Aurum Cantus 620s, amplification is yet to be decided, and the cables are going to be...none of your business!  ;D

I am eagily awaiting the results... have you guys worked out a rough timeline for this to get to print?

Hi, this one is just going to be an informal session, we'll post a few pics here, and those who attended will be welcome to give their input, either way. If there's enough demand for future sessions then possibly we can look at doing a magazine feature, but these are early days.

Very few people bothered PM-ing me to ask to be put down on the list, so at the moment we have the maximum needed for one session.
