Again - car audio sub -section
« on: January 27, 2011, 11:47:07 am »
Hi all, Once again there are car audio threads popping up, is it about time to re-consider a car audio subsection?

I'm wondering, would Car Audio fall under General or under DIY? I'm leaning towards DIY, but what say you?

 ;D so was I  :P

on a more semi-serious note, perhaps you should create a whole new category for say 'mobile audio' because before you know it you'll have the guys with boats asking about marine audio  ;D ;D and moaning they don't have their own section plus you could put all the iPod and related clones posts there

No we already cater for portable audio elsewhere and also headphones, although we don't see anything about abe's amps in there... maybe automotive audio?

I am a noob here ,but my vote goes for it's own section.

Depending on how busy it is it can be broken down into smaller parts like (woofer / headunit and wiring / crossover) or whatever.

In thinking about this, I'm also starting to feel there needs to be a separate section as I'm thinking there could be a classifieds area there as well. Just wondering if it's worthwhile duplicating what exists over at SnS already?
