So much luv Lav  :-X

Altogether now  ...  we are the world   :'(

It's fine, we all understand. Some of us are after the money. Some of us are after the fun, and the community spirit.

Just so long as the distinction is clear.
My ears are fine, I tell you!

Hi Gary

OK, my post was not intended to offend you or anyone else,  ??? I was simply making a comment based on other general comments around the concept / principle, which is why I also said: "As long as people buy, sell and resell and they are open and fair about it, there is absolutely no problem."

Sorry if you think the intention was anything else, but this is just an opinion - for the record I have had a good experience buying from you - so this was maybe a bit undeserved. You decide. No hard feelings from this end...

No problem guys. It is a hobby and a passion and as you know it can be expensive. Yes their is a camaradie that I have experienced and the service you get amongst fellow members on the site has been better than the service you get from a salesman.

On the other hand people should be open minded and realise that if there is the potential to make a buck, whether it is 100% or 200% markup on stuff he may have bought secondhand he should let the market conditions on the site prevail - willing buyer, willing seller - where else would you get a starter system for R1800.

and if I kept all my old Hi-Fi mags and did reserach on what I bought and sold then that is part of the joy of hi-fi, it takes me that closer to the tubes or vinyl that may still be a wet dream.  Yes everything is not about money sometimes there is a swap involved or what you have

To others who wish to give freely, well maybe they have reached their nirvana.
