USB Flash disk sync tool?
« on: September 08, 2010, 08:31:12 pm »
Any recommendations for a decent tool (freeware or reasonably priced) that does filesync between a PC folder and a USB flash disk, and vice versa? Kingston used to supply a tool called "MigoSync", but it does not run on their larger (>=16GB) drives.

Some of the stuff I've been able to Google looks a bit suspect / "malware-ish"  ???

I'm using the free version of AllwaySync.

Works well for me.

The good free ones are...

Cobian Backup

and

Syncback
http://www.filehippo.com/download_syncback/

-Cobian is easier to use than Syncback, but try both!!

Puresync is another option. Using it for a few of my clients and it seems reliable

I used Syncback a while ago to sync the information on one of our directors PC with a file server and I like the command-line interface which could be used in a batch script and scheduled to run at specific times, but that may have changed.
