Hi,

I don't have enough knowledge to properly understand this.
Are higher impedance headphones harder to amplify ?

I understand that the sensitivity of a headphone determines how easy it will be able to get loud. The general consensus however is that higher impedance headphones are generally harder to power.
Am I correct in saying that a higher impedance headphone with a similar sensitivity of a lower impedance headphone will not draw as much current and will thus be easier to amplify correctly ? :teach:

Or does the change in impedance also mean that there needs to be compensated for with the sensitivity ?

Any help ? :help:
