Yeh, It was made when stereo just came out in 1957. Still plays each channel with a separate arm and cartridge. A needlemaker's dream deck. Everything is double ;D

If I'm not mistaken, ghostie played with one of these for a while.

I have the matching preamp and amp (SX-9100 and SO-9100, IIRC). I'd buy this if I did not already some rather nice turntables. Maybe you should. It is cheap enough...

Wow - http://www.hifi-wiki.de/index.php/Optonica_SX-9100 & http://www.hifi-wiki.de/index.php/Optonica_SO-9100 very 80's

since 80's is back in you should rent it out to the movie industry as a prop for a music video....

I have wayyyyyyyyyyy too many turntable projects that need to be done before I can even look at getting another...  ::)

Why don't you get it then you got the set....  8)

I was just curious about the table really... You never know if it's some obscure sleeper....

That tonearm also looks odd. I imagine the extra piece is for some or other tracking for the auto bits...

I have the Optonica PL-7100 turntable - neat machine! (Machine is virtually brand new)
I also have an Optonica RT-7100 tape deck in need of repair.
