Zapper specs:

1 - Flies - 90% effective
2 - Fruit flies - 80% effective
3 - Mosquitoes - 80% effective
4 - Moths - 100% effective

Cockroaches and other bugs were not interviewed for their comments

There is a tray at the bottom that unclips so you can empty out the dead bodies

My (wife's) complaint was that it was a bit ugly in the kitchen.  I had it in the upstairs bedroom for a while and it seemed to attract mosquitoes, but there again she objected to the violet glow, so it has been in a cupboard for 5 years

It uses 3 watts of electricity

These zappers work very nicely,  have a few in the house and are switched on most nights, in the bedrooms and other rooms especially those with open windows for ventilation.

Surprised your wife prefers to have flying irritations in preference to a dim violet light, that comment of yours brings back to mind the fact that there is an edible item that once eaten sometimes causes suffering and problems for years on end, it is called a wedding cake!

Its bin day tomorrow, so the other stuff will go on the pavement (should be gone in 15 mins by past experience)

Btw I still have a stunningly beautiful and almost antique CD rack going for free......

If still available, please add to the pile - Mom has CD's lying around and will be appreciated.

Working iBurst modem, with power supply and mains lead

DSTV receiver (no remote)

Would the iBurst modem be limited to an iBurst subscription, or can other providers use this hardware platform too.

Also, does it also share a simcard slot like my current basic Hauwei 3G USB modem.

Would like to replace the 3G modem with this unit on a fixed desktop PC if all is compatible, - thereby increasing download/upload throughput speeds nicely.

Mom has the basic DSTV DSD 3u decoder at present, with 1 or 2 extra remotes from older DSTV decoder models that are now non-functional.

Should one of these 3 remote controls be compatible, & the DSTV hardware ownership transfer is not too much of a headache - will then certainly be interested.

The DSD 3u decoder will then be paid forward. >>  :2c:

Need to go into Cape Town to sort out some odds and ends soon (this week or next), Chris.

Will let you know beforehand, so that we can touch base accordingly. >>  :2thumbs:

Did anybody else open the thread expecting it to be about one device that does all of the above?
