Eish, then you gonna have a serious battle to get something worthy of the time you spent on your cabs. R600 for that (or any other good unit) is a very, very good price. The only other suggestion would be to get some drivers from Zakspeed. But these are very poor in comparison to the HiVi's, even considering the difference in price.

Im currently running two drivers from Zakspeed, was hoping to find something a few levels above them without breaking the bank. Someone mentioned Infinity Dynamics?

If you can't find Infinity Dynamic in the Cape, you can also try Yebo Electronics:

http://www.fort777.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=205

Choose the one with the biggest magnet because the Qts of these cheap drivers are usually on the high side.

These are Infinity Dynamics and I have also used them, with some success. They are alright, but not brilliant.
The guys from PQ Sound does send via post and I have had no problem in the past with their deliveries.

Try these; they are cheap enough for you not to feel "done-in".  :P

Another forum member, I can't remember who, did some TS Parameter tests on these "Kevlar" look alike drivers:

Fs:    57.8 Hz
Vas:    10.9 liters
Qts:    0.54
Qms:    4.5
Qes:    0.62
Le:    0.66 mH
L1:    1.14 mH
Re:    7.6 Ohm
Sd:    132 sq cm

this may also be of help............my example is from some years ago. Here we have F3 @ 52Hz , F19 @ 38Hz.   Woofer is able max 90W RMS and do 110dB
Best volume is 12 liter internal (ported design) eg 2x40 mm dia 227 mm long. one flared end. If you get a pair of well made drivers these punch well above their weight/price..............

IF ure help is not forthcoming re measurement, I can help  - drop off in the Panorama N suburbs area.
 - which Zakspeed drivers do u currently use ? I  have measurements on several models...........although its best done on those u have to cover variances (can be significant)
