Craig, send a PM to Ampdog, he might be able to help you.

What problems are you experiencing? Normal ones are dirty contacts on the various pots and switches, which are sorted out with a good dose of decent Contact Cleaner spray - not Q20. Bit it might have some caps that need to be replaced as well.

Easiest thing to first try is to quickly rotate the volume & balance controls quickly completely to & fro while the amp is switched off. Do this about 20 times. This often clears thew old carbon dust without any further ado.

Those have an issue with pots going south. Your best bet is to pop into GT or Roleen Instruments. They across the road from the Hyundai garage at the East Rand mall. You'll be able to get some Kontakt cleaner there that'll work teriffic on getting those pots sorted.

The AU-411 measures remarkably well regarding filters, tone controls etc. The circuit of the main amplifier part is sophisticated, but some component changes are necessary to get rid of some nasty ringing (seen on a square wave) and improve stability.
